For those that want to know me:

I am 31 years-old and I am a full-time mother of two boys, ages 4 and 1.5 years old . (Those are my boys in my default pic:-) I am an African-American who wears MAC C7/NC45; Flori Roberts Sand/C3; Philosophy's Supernatural Air-brushed Canvas in Bronze/Rich as my own custom blend; and Mally Beauty in Rich. You see I don't discriminate when it comes to produts! LOL

I am presently pursuing a career in makeup artistry through Bennett Institute in Washington, DC. I decided to capitalize on something I love and want to help others experience the same feeling I get when I put on some funky eyeshadow or cover up a pimple when it's my time of the month. I also want to help teenagers who suffer from acne and other skin problems by raising their self-esteem using makeup. It's a know fact that when you have on a nice application of makeup and have a big smile that others will flock to you or at least notice you. All my life I suffered from severe acne and no one helped me. All I wanted to do is run home after school and never come back out. I was told to drink more water and cut out the sweets! Now we know that it's not that at all. My heart goes out to teens dealing with these issues b/c teen years are hard enough with those raging hormones, which is the true causes of severe acne along with bacteria on the skin.

But anyway, that's how I came to LiveJournal. I somehow stumbled upon the site when I googled MAC tutorials and fell in love with this site. I am learning to navigate and will soon be seasoned enough to start adding my own FOTD's and maybe even some tutorials. Who knows?

Thanks to all who ADD me as a friend and welcome me into their community. It's all about "meeting" people with the same interests and sharing ideas and tips as we journey together to enhance our beauty and lives.
